My family took a hike up a 14er, but only made it to 12,000 because of an incoming storm.
The scenes were breathtaking.
There were, I think, 5 lakes up the mountain, but we paused too much trying to look for edible wild mushrooms to eat for lunch.
Because the storm put a damper on our adventure, we just fried the mushrooms up with some butter, and red wine at home. It was delectable!
